Who We Are:
In 1890, William H Cowles arrived in Spokane to take the reins of the Spokesman newspaper.  In 1893 the Spokesman and Review papers were merged to create what is today's award winning Spokesman Review newpaper.

During 1915 Cowles purchased farm paper publications in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.  Currently, the Northwest Farmer-Stockman serves the original three states plus Montana, Wyoming and Utah.  Today these publications have sister publications covering 36 agricultural states.

What We Do:
We serve a unique business market.  During the early 1900s farms and ranches were isolated; no phones or mail delivery to their homesteads.  Our sales reps went out on horseback to aquire farm paper subscriptions to be delivered at the local post office.

During these last 100 years we have developed a strong business relationship with our subscribers based on an annual service call.  Today when we call on these farm and ranch families they know who we are, they like us and trust us.  Since 1939 we have given subscribers the opportunity to help protect, preserve and pass on their farm and ranch legacy.   Due to unforseen circumstances, it is very easy to lose everything they have worked hard to build.  Similarly, when they are ready to retire they need to know their retirement assets are safe.

When its time to transfer the farm and ranch to the next generation, it's critical to have liquidity for the required transactions.  Without proper planning the family farm or ranch can be lost at the death of the owners.  The products we have made available for 70 years help farm and ranch owners solve these real problems.

We have agreements with 17 companies to provide quality solutions to our farm and ranch market throughout the United States.  These products help resolve the following issues.

Guaranteed income to replace their efforts
Guaranteed retirment Income
Tax free asset transfers
Unsecured debt payments
Wealth transfer
Estate preservation

If you would like to have fun solving these challenges, then this sales career is ideally suited for you.

Where We Have Opportunities:
During the next 2-3 years we will have sales and sales management opportunites in every state due to planned growth and scheduled retirements.  We promote from within our organization.  If you live in our six northwest states you are in a good position to benefit from our opportunity.
